Dierks Bentley has officially debuted the music video for “Hold the Light,” his collaboration with Bon Iver’s S. Carey that’s set to soon appear in a feature film. Readers can press play above to watch the clip.

“Hold the Light” will be featured in Columbia Pictures and Black Label Media’s forthcoming film Only the Brave, which tells the story of Arizona’s Granite Mountain Hotshots, a unit of firefighters who fought some of the most dangerous wildfires. The elite wildland firefighting crew lost 19 firefighters in a blaze in 2013.

Only the Brave stars Jeff Bridges, Taylor Kitsch and Jennifer Connelly. In his "Hold the Light" music video, footage of Bentley performing the song on acoustic guitar with his band are interspersed with some of the film’s most poignant shots.

Bentley wrote "Hold the Light" specifically about the group of brave, fearless firefighters for the film; it's his first original composition for a motion picture. An Arizona native, Bentley hosted a fundraising concert, which raised more than half a million dollars, following the death of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots members. He’s also gotten to know Brendan McDonough, the sole survivor of the tragedy, and his mother has met with some of the Hotshots’ families.

“This song hits really close to me,” says Bentley in a statement. "One of the most powerful takeaways for me from working on this project has been the need to search for hope and light even in the darkest of times. I think right now that message is more meaningful than ever.”

Only the Brave will debut in theaters on Oct. 19.
