Both Darius Rucker and Little Big Town were both on the bill for the 2017 CMA Music Festival's Nissan Stadium concert on Sunday night (June 11), making the timing just right for a duet. During his set, Rucker brought LBT's Karen Fairchild out onstage to help him sing his current single, "If I Told You."

Readers can press play above to watch a bit of Rucker and Fairchild's performance. Ross Copperman, Jon Nite and Shane McAnally co-wrote "If I Told You;" Copperman also produced it. The song recently became Rucker's eighth No. 1 single.

"Thank you for believing in this song!" Rucker told the Nissan Stadium crowd on Sunday night. In a press release, he adds. "I love this time in country music. It's so wide in range, and to have this song -- a ballad, and one I've loved and related to since first hearing the worktape -- is pretty incredible.”

Rucker is currently working on his fifth solo album for Capitol Records Nashville, the follow-up project to 2015's Southern Style. A release date is not yet available, but a press release reports that the disc is set to drop later this year; Rucker hints that there will be a few special guests on his new set of tunes, but he declines to reveal who will appear.

“There’s a great one that I did with a couple of guys that I’m really excited about,” he teases. “It’s going to be really good. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
