Carrie Underwood and her husband and son had a big pajama party Thursday night (Aug. 10), and they let fans in on the fun via social media.

Underwood and Mike Fisher evidently believe in making bedtime a blast for their adorable 2-year-old son, Isaiah, and before they tucked him in on Thursday, they decided to play a little dress-up to get him ready. Isaiah's pajama choice for the night was a too-cute superhero costume complete with a tiny blue cape and mask, and his parents got in on the superhero action, too.

The country superstar chose a red mask and cape, and her NHL hockey husband donned a green mask and cape, with Underwood posting a shot of herself and her hubby together, and sharing another precious shot of Fisher and Isaiah, with the boy adorably sweeping his blue cape back with his arms to simulate flight.

"Just a typical Thursday night at the Fisher house...featuring Catboy, Gekko and Owlette!" she writes to accompany the shot of her husband and son. "It's time to be a hero! #PJMasks."

Underwood has been taking it easy for much of 2017, with no live shows on the books and no new music currently on the horizon. She's been getting a lot of special time with her husband and son and sharing quite a bit of it via social media, including an outlandish '70s throwback costume party with friends and sweet pictures from her anniversary.

The singer did play one important gig in 2017: wowing the hometown crowd in Nashville when she sang the National Anthem before a Predators game during her husband's run for the Stanley Cup, which gave the team their biggest season to date.

The couple will have even more time together now that Fisher has announced his retirement from the NHL.

"Isaiah and I love you so much and are so excited to be able to have you home a lot more," she wrote after he announced his decision on Aug. 3. "We can’t wait to cheer on the @predsnhl WITH you in the stands!"
